Gilsbar is privately held and owned by Henry J. Miltenberger, who has served as President and CEO since 1984. Mr. Miltenberger entered the insurance industry through sales in 1973. In 1977, he received his Juris Doctor degree from the Louisiana State University School of Law and received the prestigious Order of the Coif legal academic designation. He has been inducted to the LSU Law Center Hall of Fame. This leadership and the unique ability to identify so closely with attorneys’ needs is a key element in what makes Gilsbar a natural choice for over 20,000 attorneys.
