Gilsbar was founded in 1959 to provide group insurance for the Louisiana State Bar
Association. With over 50 years experience serving attorneys, Gilsbar has an unmatched
level of expertise in the administration of legal malpractice insurance coverage. Gilsbar
Specialty Insurance Services is located in Covington, Louisiana. All sales, client service
and underwriting functions are done from this one location, making doing business with Gilsbar
easy for our clients. We are the exclusive administrator for the CNA lawyer’s professional
liability program in an eight state region including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana,
Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina and Texas.
