Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The seminar begins at 8:15 a.m. and will end at 12:00 p.m.

We encourage you to arrive at 7:30 a.m. to complete the registration process. You’ll need to allow enough time to sign-in, gather course materials, and take your seat prior to the start of the seminar.

Gilsbar will provide morning refreshments, including coffee, tea, soft drinks, and assorted breakfast pastries during the seminars; however, lunch will not be provided.

The seminar time schedule will always be listed in the actual time zone in which the host city is located.

No. The $75 advanced registration fee covers only the cost of the seminar. Each individual is responsible for his or her parking fees. Prior to each seminar, an e-mail from Charlotte Guerin of Gilsbar will be sent detailing specific parking rates and information.

No. Prior to the seminar, you will receive an e-mail outlining specific event details. Included, you will find an attachment of “supplemental” materials that are available for download after the seminar, should you be interested. Feel free to print these materials and bring with you to the seminar; however, it is NOT required. Both a pen a paper will be provided for taking notes.

In an effort to keep the materials as up-to-date as possible, CNA has opted to place all course materials on their Website for download.

To download the materials:

2. Select the Risk Management link on the left navigation panel.
3. Click Risk Management Seminars.
4. Select “Click here to download the written materials for ‘Building a Solid Foundation: Managing Law Practice Risk’.

The CLE credits for live seminars varies from state to state. Please contact rwelch@gilsbar.com to request the CLE approval information for your state.

Once Gilsbar receives the paperwork collected at the seminar, it will be processed and sent to CNA. CNA will then file each individual attorney’s CLE credits with your state bar association.

Please contact rwelch@gilsbar.com to request the FL course number for the CLE you attended. In the email, please include the attendee's name, location of the CLE, and date of the CLE.

Yes. As long as the seminar is approved in the state in which you are licensed, you will receive the CLE credit hours for which it has been approved (see Question 4). At the seminar, you must complete and turn in an Out-of-State CLE Form to Gilsbar staff prior to leaving the seminar to have your credits approved.

Please allow anywhere from six (6) to eight (8) weeks for your credits to be processed and posted.

By attending the Building a Solid Foundation seminar, you may be eligible for up to a 7.5% discount off of your CNA premium policy. This discount is based upon the number of attorneys in your firm who attend the seminar. For example, if you are a solo attorney and attend any one of the seminars, you would be eligible for the full 7.5% discount. If you are in a firm with two attorneys, and only one attorney attends a seminar, then you would only be eligible for half of the 7.5% discount.

Yes. You may arrive at the event and register at the door. Please know that the fee increases to $85.00. Be prepared to pay via check (payable to Gilsbar) or cash.

Written notification of cancellation must be made at least 48 hours prior to the start time of the seminar. When cancellation occurs, your registration fee, less a $20.00 processing fee, will be refunded to you. No refunds for cancellations will be issued after this time. Please send cancellation requests via the event registration site.
